We offer zone visits to save money and keep your horse up-to-date with routine healthcare. 

Save money on routine visits by signing up to be seen on a day when our vets are in your area. It’s simple - just check which day one of our vets will be in your area and book at least 2 days in advance. 

Our zone visits offer owners the perfect opportunity to have the following routine appointments:

• Routine vaccinations

• Prescription checks for medications

• Routine dental examination

• Blood samples - Cushings monitoring etc

• Microchips

• Passport paperwork

• Health checks

• Sedation for clipping, dentistry and farriery

What is a zone visit?

Your zone day is dependent on where your horse is stabled so please take a look at our map. 

To be able to offer these appointments on the reduced fee visit charge (£25 plus mileage), our administration team will plot all zone visits using the most economical route the day before your appointment. When booking in the visit, you will be informed of an approximate time, however we may need to alter this to efficiently route plan. If this does happen, you will be contacted at least twenty-four hours in advance to check that this is mutually beneficial.

We MAY be able to, and will make every effort to, accommodate zone bookings not on the zone day if we have a vet in the area.

How it works

Please use our map below to find out which zone your area is covered by and, if you're unsure because you live near a zone boundary, we can confirm this when you make your appointment.

The zone day visit fee offers more than a 50% discount on our standard visit fee and may be split between others in the same yard. Zone visits will not be available to clients with outstanding accounts.

Prebooked zone visits (£25 + 50% off mileage)

• Booked at least 48hrs in advance for routine appointment

Prebooked none zone visit (£25 + mileage)

• Booked at least 48hrs in advance for routine appointment not on zone day

Standard Visit (£55 + mileage)

• For non routine appointments requiring an urgent visit

Out of hours visit (£75-125 + mileage)

Mileage is calculated at £1.25/mile based on a return journey from the practice.
